History
Silver Tree Structural Ltd. was founded in October 2013 by the owner, Justin Williams, based on the goal of providing individualized and personalized services to clients with small to medium-sized projects spread across the residential and commercial building spectrum.
After 13 years of prior work experience in a number of consulting settings, Justin realized that there was an opportunity to be able to provide structural engineering services in a way that met clients where they were at, whether a home owner carrying out a small renovation or a commercial client requiring a new development within challenging site conditions, all while maintaining the same caring attitude and attention to detail.
About Justin
Justin Williams is a structural engineer based in Calgary, focusing on small to medium sized projects. With 19 years’ worth of experience behind him, he has come to appreciate that one of the most important aspects of any project is understanding your needs and translating that as best as possible into the result that you desire. Through employing a collaborative and thoughtful approach with all clients, regardless of the size of the project, Justin has developed a reputation for quality, both in relationship with the team, as well as providing creative and effective engineering solutions for the structural portions of your project. With well over 1,000 projects under his belt, from removing posts in basements to multi-million-dollar custom homes, Justin has seen (and experienced) a significant variety of work, but always understands that every project is unique in its own way.
Silver Tree Structural was established to allow Justin to provide the attention needed to each and every project he works on. Even as the sole employee, Justin maintains relationships with colleagues and contractors to ensure that support is provided where required. Silver Tree Structural carries out most of its work within the Calgary area, but also has done work across the province and into BC, Saskatchewan and Northwest Territories.
